While sports fans on the outside cheer on their favorite college basketball teams, Alaskans are celebrating success in a sport we know a little more about, hockey.
Saturday evening the Alaska ACES brought home a 4-1 victory against the Victoria Salmon Kings earning their second Brabham Cup in franchise history. They have also earned themselves a first round bye in the ECHL Western Conference Semi-Finals.
A crowd gathered today at the Anchorage Airport to welcome the team home.
