Sarah Palin, Barack Obama, and Abortion

With the announcement from Barack Hussein Obama that he is running for the office of president, (did he ever stop campaigning?) I figured now would be the time to do a little comparison between him and Sarah Palin and their individual stances on abortion.

Obama, in his own words concerning abortion when addressing a Planned Parenthood Conference, said, “If they (his daughters) make a mistake, I don’t want to PUNISH them with a baby.” He also said that the first thing he would do as president would be to sign the Freedom of Choice Act. “On this fundamental issue, I will not yield and Planned Parenthood will not yield.”

Unfortunately, this isn’t as low as he will go when it comes to abortion. It seems he even favors infanticide. The National Right to Life Committee had this to say about Mr. Obama's stance on the subject:

“Barack Obama is so radical in his support of abortion, he supports infanticide as is evidenced in his opposition to the IL Born Alive Infants Protection Act, a bill to protect abortion survivors.

Obama not only voted against Born Alive, he was the sole senator to speak against it on the senate floor - 2 years in a row.

The federal version of Born Alive passed unanimously 98-0 in the US Senate with Sens. Kennedy and Boxer speaking in support on the senate floor. It passed overwhelmingly by voice vote in the US House. President Bush signed it into law on August 5, 2002.

As chairman of the IL Senate Health & Human Services Committee, Obama singlehandedly stopped the identical wording of the federal bill from being introduced in IL in 2003.”

You can read HERE about his effort to cover up his role in opposing protection for born-alive survivors of abortion.

Jill Stanek, who writes for World Net Daily, is an avid opponent of abortion. As a nurse working at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Illinois, Jill was a witness to the way abortion survival babies were allowed to die without any kind of aid. She told then Illinois Senator Barack Obama and the Senate Judiciary Board about her experience at Christ Hospital when she was speaking in favor of the Illinois Born Alive Infant Protection Act. To counter Jill’s accusations, Christ Hospital established a Comfort Room “complete with a First Foto machine, baptismal gowns, a footprinter and baby bracelets, so (Christ Hospital) can offer keepsakes to parents of their aborted babies. There is even a nice wooden rocker in the room to rock live aborted babies to death.” How very humane.

To read Obama’s unbelievable response to Jill Stanek’s apparent dismay over this development, go HERE.

You can also watch Jill’s complete interview with Sean Hannity concerning Obama, Christ Hospital, and the subject of abortion below.

Sarah Palin’s stance on abortion is quite the opposite of Barack Obama’s. One only has to look at her son Trig to see the value she places on life.

Here she is in her own words, speaking about the subject of abortion and the right to life that every precious unborn child is entitled to.

Her interview with Barbara Walters, below, also revealed her sensitivity to the difficult position that some women find themselves in when faced with an unexpected pregnancy.

When asked on CBN about Obama’s extreme abortion view, Sarah had this to say:

The contrast between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama is sharp. One only needs to look at their individual positions on abortion to see the vast difference between them.

Sarah Palin chooses life. Barack Obama chooses death.

Which will you choose?

Palin? Or Obama?

Life? Or death?

I think it only fitting that an abortion survivor should have the last word on this subject:
